FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — Gian Clavell scored a career-high 17 points, Joe De Ciman scored a career-high tying 15, and unbeaten Colorado State easily defeated Division II Arkansas-Fort Smith 88-60 on Saturday to win its tenth straight game.

Carlton Hurst scored a career-high 13 points, J.J Avila scored 10 and grabbed nine rebounds, and John Gillon had eight assists for the Rams.

Colorado State's 10-0 start ties a 10-game run in 1997-98.

The Rams never trailed and led 25-14 after a 3 by Gillon capped a 7-2 run. Colorado State scored 15 unanswered points in the final 3:16 to lead 40-18 at halftime.

The Lions gained ground in the second half on a 12-2 run capped by consecutive 3-pointers by Blake Branham, but the Rams used a 9-2 run to lead by 31 with 8:11 to play and stayed ahead.

DeVaunta Thomas led the Lions (4-5) with 15 points.
