(KSL News) Two years after a BYU student disappears, her family and friends finally hold a memorial service.
They say the service for Brooke Wilberger gave them some peace. And they say they'll hang onto memories, thinking of Brooke as energetic and full of life.
Wanda Campbell/ Friend of Wilberger: "She was an amazing girl. She was one of those kinds of people that you wanted to be like her because you didn't see any flaws in her."
"She was well spirited. She was outgoing, really involved with the school, and her friends meant everything to her."
The former BYU student disappeared about two years ago in Oregon. Her remains have not been found.
Police believe Oregonian Joel Courtney abducted and killed Wilberger. He awaits trial on rape charges in New Mexico.
