HONOLULU (AP) — The Hawaii State Teachers Association will host the first annual Christmas Read Aloud event at the Waipahu Public Library.

There will be a live reading of The Musubi Man: Hawaii's Gingerbread Man, a book written by Sandi Takayama.

The event will be held Saturday morning at 10:30.

Children will be able to enjoy Christmas-themed arts and crafts, refreshments and raffle prizes.

The event will be free of charge.
