ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — Michigan wide receiver Devin Funchess has declared for the 2015 NFL draft.
The junior announced his decision on Tuesday. He had 62 receptions for 733 yards and four touchdowns this season.
Funchess says in a release that it has been his dream to play in the NFL and he's "prepared to take the next step" on that journey.
The announcement comes a week after coach Brady Hoke was fired. The Wolverines struggled to a 5-7 record this season.
Funchess had 126 receptions for 1,715 yards and 15 touchdowns in 37 career games at Michigan.
