Becky Bruce reportingSalt Lake City's diners, drive-ins and dives are about to put Utah on the food map.
Guy Fieri's show "Diners, Drive-ins and Dives" is taping in Utah this week and will wrap up with a Friday lunchtime visit to Pat's Barbecue in South Salt Lake.
Apparently, the special on Friday is the burnt ends. But what exactly are burnt ends? "It's the ends of the meat that are saved all week from the meat, so they get time to get all the flavor in there. Really good," one woman explained.

The dish and the restaurant pull in fans from all over. "You gotta get here early, yep. Friday right at 11," one man said.
A woman told us, "The atmosphere is awesome, the food's awesome, the owner's a great guy."
It caps off a couple of days worth of visiting the area's quirkier, locally-owned fare, including the Blue Plate Diner, Ruth's Diner, Moochies' Meatballs, The Red Iguana and the Burger Bar in Roy. But fans at Pat's say the show saved the best for last.
