PROVO — Police are offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of the man who robbed a Provo credit union in Provo Wednesday.

The man entered the Utah Community Credit Union, located at 1501 S. 40 East, at about 9:04 a.m., according to the Provo Police Department.

“The robber passed a typed note to the teller that stated, ‘This is a robbery,’ and demanded cash,” a statement from police reads. “At no time did the suspect display or mention a weapon.”

The man left the credit union after receiving an undisclosed amount of money from the teller, according to police. They said the man was last seen walking in a southeast direction from the main doors.

Investigators described the robber as being a white male in his mid-to-late 20s who is of a medium build and about 5-feet-5-inches tall. He was wearing a black leather jacket, light blue jeans and dark sunglasses.

Anyone with information about the man’s identity or the robbery can call the Provo Police Department at 801-852-6210.
