BAHRAIN — A Korean millionaire is leading by example, showing that no matter a person’s status or how much money one has, it’s up to everyone to keep our cities clean.
Mr. Yo is an investor living in Bahrain. Every morning before dawn, he gets up, grabs trash bags and a pair of tongs and cleans up trash in his neighborhood. Some mornings, his children join him, but the morning a video was filmed by Omar Varov, Yo is working alone.
“There is a lot of garbage and this makes people sick. It causes problems,” he said. “I have two names. My first name is Yo and my second name is the Boss of Cleaning.”
In the video, his admirers tell stories about his experience and thank him for his contribution.
“I think we should take a look at ourselves,” Younis says. “Today, is a prime example. May God be with us.”
