SALT LAKE CITY — When it comes to body image, children can teach adults a thing or two.
The Jubilee Project, a nonprofit organization that produces short videos to inspire others, recently embarked on a project about body image involving men and women of all ages.
In the video, 50 participants were asked just one question: If you could change one thing about your body, what would it be?
Many of the adult's reactions were similar. One woman hastily asked "only one?" while others announce their dislike for physical features such as the size of their forehead or ears, their skin and their face shape, among others.
When the children were asked, each of them paused for a while before introducing a new concept.
"You know, have a mermaid tail," one little girl stated, as if it was obvious.
Other kids wished for the mouth of a shark, teleportation and extra pointy ears.
Then, one little girl wisely said, "I don't think there's anything to change."
The video, which was posted Oct. 29, has nearly 3 million views.
