OREM — A woman sought by police in connection to the theft of about $200 worth of merchandise turned herself in Wednesday.
The theft occurred at the Kohl’s department store in Orem early Monday afternoon, according to Lt. Craig Martinez of the Orem Police Department. He said about $200 worth of clothing items — including pants, hats and shirts — were stolen from the store.
Martinez said that the woman talked to police after seeing her picture on KSL.com.
The woman was seen driving a silver Infinity QX4, according to investigators. Martinez said police identified the car and its license plate, but the woman did not appear to be the registered owner of the vehicle.
