LOGAN, Utah (AP) -- Without a fake ID, many teens ask random adults to buy alcohol for them in an exercise known as "shoulder tapping."
But a recent sting operation in Cache County shows there aren't a whole lot of people willing to break the law and hand over alcohol to minors.
Out of nearly three dozen people asked to buy alcohol by minors last week, only three people agreed to do so.
An employee at the State Liquor Store also noticed the underage kids hanging around outside and asked them to leave. A worker at a convenience store also called police when minors kept approaching customers.
