Andrew Adams reportingCar break-ins are on the rise in areas of Utah County, and police say car owners are making it easy.
Police say the main problem is that bad guys get right in because many people don't lock their car doors. As a result, the very quiet suburbs of American Fork and Cedar Hills in Utah County have experienced 75 car burglaries in March and April.
Investigators say five groups of teens are behind 30 of the crimes.
The easy way to protect your car? Police say simply lock it up, close your garage door and even leave some lights on at night.
