BOUNTIFUL — Police are seeking help from the public to identify a man who robbed a gas station Sunday.
The man, who was armed with a handgun, robbed Maverik on 200 West in Bountiful Sunday night at 11:45 p.m., police said.
The robber took an undisclosed amount of cash, according to Sgt. Killian with Bountiful City Police Department.
Police believe there is a connection between this robbery and two others that occured at convenience stories in Salt Lake last week.
The robber in each of the three incidents wore a gray sweatshirt and gloves. The robber also wore pantyhose over his face at the Salt Lake stores, but surveillance cameras captured part of his uncovered face in Bountiful, according to Sgt. Killian.
The detective division is requesting the community’s help in identifying the robber.
