(KSL News) A Davis County jury awarded a very happy pig with a "not guilty" verdict today.

Jurors ruled Curly Pig did not intentionally cook the Big Bad Wolf when he fell from Ms. Pig's chimney and into a stewing pot below.

Fortunately for all the parties involved it was just a mock trial.

The proceeding was part of an educational outreach to teach young students about courts.

Nearly 100 kids from Eagle Bay Elementary participated in the trial. They also got to sit in holding cells.

There's no word yet if the Big Bad Wolf plans to appeal.
