Chief: Western Sugar employee injured in fall

SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. (AP) — Wyoming authorities say a woman was seriously injured at a sugar factory and has been taken to a Nebraska hospital.

Fire Chief Jeremy Wardell of Torrington, Wyoming, tells KNEB-AM (http://bit.ly/10oe7nd ) the woman fell from one section of the Western Sugar factory to another. She was flown to a Scottsbluff hospital in serious condition.

Wardell didn't release the woman's name or say how far she fell. Authorities haven't said what the woman was doing when the fall occurred.
