LEWISBURG, Pa. (AP) — C.J. Williams had 20 carries for 188 yards and a touchdown on Saturday, helping Bucknell remained undefeated with a 20-7 win over Cornell.
Bucknell (4-0) broke a 7-7 tie in the second quarter on R.J. Nitti's 19-yard touchdown pass to Patrick Kelly and extended its lead in the fourth when Nitti found Will Carter for a 33-yard score.
Nitti finished 11 of 23 for 189 yards and Carter had four catches for 87 yards.
Williams capped Bucknell's five-play, 78-yard opening drive with a 28-yard touchdown run.
Cornell (0-2) answered immediately with a 12-play, 78-yard drive, ending with Jake Jatis' 19-yard touchdown pass to Marshall Deutz.
The Bison, who forced three turnovers, outgained Cornell 425-233 in total yards and held the Big Red to just 105 yards rushing on 43 carries.
