NEW YORK (AP) — Paddle Board set the pace and held on for a neck victory over Hillhouse High on Friday in the $80,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Belmont Park.
A 3-year-old trained by Alan Goldberg and ridden by Joel Rosario, Paddle Board posted a second straight win since switching to the turf. Overall, she's 3 for 8.
The time was 1:09.36 for six furlongs over the course rated good.
The 2-1 favorite, Paddle Board paid $6.10, $3.20 and $2.60. Hillhouse High returned $3.20 and $2.40, and Good So Far paid $2.10 to show.
