DETROIT (AP) — The Detroit Red Wings' exhibition game against Chicago on Thursday night is expected to start late because of mechanical issues with the Blackhawks' plane departing Chicago.

The game was originally scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Detroit, but the Red Wings announced about 90 minutes before then that it would be delayed — and that the start was dependent on the Blackhawks' arrival time in Detroit.
