GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Henrik Samuelsson had a goal, two assists and scored in a shootout to lift the Arizona Coyotes to a 5-4 win over the Los Angeles Kings in a split-squad game Monday night.

Martin Hanzal had two goals and an assist, and Max Domi added three assists playing on the same line with him and Samuelsson. Domi also scored in the shootout, which ended when Los Angeles' Mike Richards failed to score.

Sam Gagner also scored for Arizona.

Richards had two goals, including one late in the third period to force overtime.

Tanner Pearson had a goal and an assist for the Kings, and Nic Dowd also scored.

Arizona's Mike Smith stopped 29 shots while Los Angeles split goaltending duties between Jean-Francois Berube (15 saves) and Patrick Bartosak (18).
