ABILENE, Texas (AP) — Parker McKenzie threw for 329 yards and two touchdowns to give Abilene Christian a 21-0 victory over Incarnate Word on Saturday.

Jace Hudson was his primary target as he pulled in six passes for 120 yards and a touchdown. Cedric Gilbert caught five for 92 yards and a TD.

ACU (2-2, 1-0 Southland Conference) limited Nicholls to 133 total yards.

McKenzie hit Hudson on a 65-yard scoring strike to give the Wildcats a 7-0 lead with 5:36 remaining in the first quarter. On ACU's next possession McKenzie passed to Gilbert for a 70-yard score.

IWU (0-4, 0-1)) drove to the ACU 8 to start the third quarter, but Sam Denmark intercepted a Jordan Scelfo pass to stop the drive. The Cardinals never threatened again.

Randy Gober scored on a 1-yard run late in the third for ACU's final score.
