(KSL News) A Sandy home goes up in flames while the family is still inside.
Everyone was able to get out okay, but the home suffered a lot of damage.
Ast. Chief Don Rosekrantz/Sand City Fire Depart: "It started on back of the home. Both the first, second and attic have been destroyed on the back of the home."
The fire spread fast. Three agencies were called in to help. Damage estimates are at about 150-thousand dollars.
Some of the embers started a small grass fire to the south of the home. Crews were able to put that out before it got to any other houses.
No word on what started the fire.
