NEW YORK (AP) — Major League Soccer has fined D.C. United and coach Ben Olsen an undisclosed sum for violating the league's "mass confrontation" policy.
The violation happened in the 38th minute of the Sept. 10 game against the New York Red Bulls. This was United's second violation, resulting in the fines.
Also fined by the disciplinary committee Tuesday for their roles in this matter were Red Bulls midfielder Roy Miller and United defender Sean Franklin and midfielder Davy Arnaud.
