SALT LAKE CITY — Thousands of Utahns logged hours outside their offices to participate in United Way's Day of Caring on Sept. 11. Over 6,000 employees were served a hearty breakfast so they could have energy to work on 135 service projects around Utah.
Deseret Digital Media and KSL employees enjoyed reading to students at Kearns Elementary. Organizers hope people will continue to give their time an volunteer. For those that would like to help students learn to read, go to readtoday.com for more information.
