TOOELE — Police are searching for the driver of a car involved in a hit-and-run accident Monday afternoon.
The accident occurred near state Route 112 and 400 West around 3:30 p.m., according to Tooele police Lt. Day. A 56-year-old man was riding a bicycle and was struck by a white car.
The man suffered head trauma and was transported to a local hospital by Air Med. His injuries were considered to be non-life threatening, Day said.
Police are attempting to locate the driver of the white car.
