(KSL News) At least one LDS family in Texas is suffering backlash from the raid on the FLDS sect.

Vandals sprayed graffiti all over the Coons' home in Houston with messages like "Mormon Die," "Watch Your Back," and "You Will Pay." Steven and Judy Coons were shocked when they saw the damage but hold no hard feelings against the vandals.

Judy says, "I feel very sorry for the people who did this because they don't know any better, and what a horrible life they must have."

The Coons' think the vandals incorrectly believe that the FLDS Church and the LDS Church are one and the same.

Investigators have a possible suspect and say they might pursue the vandalism as a hate crime.
