ST. GEORGE (AP) -- A 22-month-old girl is in the hospital this morning after nearly drowning in a swimming pool.
It happened yesterday in St. George.
Police say the toddler's aunt was baby-sitting the little girl when the disappeared from her view.
Officers say the woman found the girl less than five minutes later in a pool in the backyard. They say the child was NOT breathing. The aunt pulled the baby out and did C-P-R.
The toddler was taken to Dixie Regional Medical Center, where doctors were able to revive her heart. She was then flown to a Salt Lake City hospital, where she remains this morning.
