SANDY, Utah (AP) — Former NFL great Brett Favre stopped by a high school football practice in a Salt Lake City suburb this week to sign autographs, take pictures and giving a speech to the team.

He mentioned that he is close friends with Ty Detmer, a former teammate with the Green Bay Packers who starred for Brigham Young University.
Favre sported a full gray beard as he threw passes to fans as the team practiced and stopped to pose for photos and give autographs.
He was in Salt Lake City to represent a pharmaceutical company that makes Rx Pro, a pain relief cream.
