LAS VEGAS (AP) — Police say a woman was killed in Las Vegas after a restaurant confrontation spilled into the parking lot early Saturday morning.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police say they have identified 27-year-old Carim Cruz as the suspect. Authorities are trying to find him and consider him armed and dangerous.
Police say the shooting occurred at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday after a verbal confrontation between the suspect and others led to a fight in the parking lot.
They say the suspect went to his car and drove by the group, firing multiple rounds. Two women were shot.
One was taken to University Medical Center while the second died at the scene. Police have not identified the victim.
This is the 81st homicide investigated by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police this year.
