Tom Callan reportingBargain hunters are crawling out of the real estate basement looking for either a steal or a deal. In some areas of the country, buyers like to shop for foreclosures as they play "Let's Make a Deal."
Murray RE/MAX agent Jim Anderson says some of his buyers scope out anxious homebuilders whose houses are sitting still. "[When] there's a big supply, not a big demand, you have to drop your price," he said.
He says some millionaire sellers are slashing their prices anywhere from $10,000 to $200,000 a day.
"The challenge is, if you have something to sell, you could be sharing that misery," he said.
He expects the "buyers' delight" to last at least another year.
