ELKO, Nev. (AP) — An Elko woman has been arrested on drug charges after police say they found 8 grams of methamphetamine in her bra.
Elko police say they stopped Ariel Hammond Sunday after they saw her drive away with two men who had been acting suspiciously in a parking lot.
The police report says they searched the car after a K-9 detected drugs.
The Elko Daily Free Press reports (http://tinyurl.com/k44h97d) officers found a glass pipe with white residue and a hypodermic needle. Upon her arrest, police say she removed a sandwich baggie from her bra which contained five smaller bags with meth.
She was being held on $36,780 bail for suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a hypodermic device, possession of a controlled substance for sale, and trafficking a controlled substance.
