LONDON (AP) — Defending men's doubles champions Bob and Mike Bryan won their first-round match at Wimbledon on Friday, beating the Australian pair of Matthew Ebden and Samual Groth 3-6, 7-6 (2), 6-2, 6-2.
The top-seeded Americans are trying to overcome a recent slide in form. The twins did not reach the final at any of the last three Grand Slam tournaments — after winning four major titles in a row before that, starting at the 2012 U.S. Open.
The match was originally scheduled for Thursday but was postponed by rain.
