LAS VEGAS (AP) — Officials with the Latin Grammy Awards are planning to broadcast their 15th annual show from the tried-and-true host city of Las Vegas.
Organizers announced Thursday that the awards show will take place Nov. 20 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. It is the seventh time the event has been held in Las Vegas, but the first time it has been held in the arena, which holds about 17,000 people.
Last year's event was held at the Mandalay Bay Events Center across the street.
The program will be broadcast on Univision, where it has become one of the network's most-watched offerings.
Nominees for the awards will be announced on Sept. 24.
