(KSL News) Boston Beer Company (BBC) is recalling some select bottles of Samuel Adams beer because the bottles may contain small grains or bits of glass.

The BBC says the affected products are embossed on the base of the bottles with the letter "N" followed by the number "35" followed by the letter "OI."

Consumers who have purchased beer in the defect bottles are advised not to drink it and dispose of the product. The company will issue a full refund on potentially affected products.

The company says it has received no reports of any consumer injury. The Utah Department of Alcoholic and Beverage Control says it will stop selling Samuel Adams beer products until it can investigate the situation. Samuel Adams beers are only sold in liquor stores and packaged agencies in Utah.

For additional information, consumers are encouraged to contact The Boston Beer Company at 1-888-674-5159 or access the company's recall Web site at consumerinfo.samadams.com.
