SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Authorities are searching for a suspect who stabbed another person at a downtown Salt Lake City concert during a fight in which a police officer was punched.

Salt Lake City police Lt. Dave Cracroft says officers were called to the Infinity Event Center around midnight Thursday after a shooting was reported.

Cracroft says there was no shooting but officers found one person who had been stabbed.

Several people started arguing and fighting as police tried to find a suspect.

He says one man who punched an officer was arrested. Another man was arrested when he tried to stop police from finding the person suspected in the stabbing.

Cracroft says the stabbing victim's injuries are not life threatening.

Police have not released any identities or details.
