BOURG-DE-PEAGE, France (AP) -- Salt Lake City's David Zabriskie won the time trial at the Dauphine (doh-FEEN') Libere (lee-BEHR') Libere cycling race in France today. He led an American sweep of the top four places.

Zabriskie moved to second place overall behind Belgium's Philippe Gilbert, who took the lead yesterday.

The Team C-S-C rider clocked 52 minutes, 48-point-65 seconds for the 26-mile third stage that began and ended in Bourg-de-Peage.

Floyd Landis -- winner of three races this year, including the Tour de Georgia in April -- placed second, 53 seconds off Zabriskie's pace. Gerolsteiner rider Levi Leipheimer was third, and Discovery Channel's George Hincapie placed fourth.

Tomorrow's stage is a 116-mile ride. The Dauphine Libere, a warmup for the Tour de France, finishes Sunday in Grenoble.
