THE BATCAVE — Director Zack Snyder sent a teaser picture of the new Batmobile for the “Superman vs. Batman” movie, and now we get a better shot of the iconic vehicle as well as a look at the Bat himself.
Snyder tweeted this picture of the Batmobile along with the new Batsuit and it appears that is Ben Affleck donning it.
Many people have been wary of a new Batman following so quickly after Christopher Nolan’s “Dark Knight” trilogy, but this photo is sure to get some interest brewing.
It was announced last August that Affleck would be the new Batman in the upcoming film and the reaction was mixed at best.
The new film will reportedly follow a storyline similar to that of the graphic novel “The Dark Knight Returns” where a retired Batman returns to battle Superman.
The currently titled “Superman vs. Batman” is scheduled for release in May 2016 and also stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.
