NEWBURGH, N.Y. (AP) — A fake hand grenade in a passenger's luggage has disrupted operations at an airport in New York's Hudson Valley.

Troopers say Stewart Airport in Newburgh closed Wednesday morning when the souvenir grenade was found during security screening.

Authorities say the passenger terminal was evacuated while the grenade was removed by state police bomb disposal experts. The terminal reopened about 90 minutes later.

Police say investigators determined the passenger had no malicious intent and there will be no criminal charges.
