SALT LAKE CITY — Police are looking for a man they said robbed a bank in Salt Lake City.

The Salt Lake City Police Department said they received a call of a robbery Tuesday afternoon at the Key Bank on 1500 South Foothill Boulevard. The man handed the teller a note demanding money, police said.

Using surveillance videos, police were able to obtain a clear photograph of the man they think is responsible for the robbery.

He’s described as being 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing between 190 and 200 pounds with scruffy facial hair and yellow teeth, according to a police report. After receiving money from the teller, the supposed suspect drove off in a white, early 2000s model BMW sedan.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the robbery to call the SLPD at 801-799-3000. Anonymous tips can be sent by texting the keyword TIPSLCPD to 274637.
