Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) Names Devin C. Carty Chief

Talent and Experience Officer

SCHAUMBURG, Ill., April 15, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Cancer

Treatment Centers of America@ (CTCA) today announced the appointment

of Devin C. Carty as Chief Talent and Experience Officer. Carty will

serve as a key member of the CTCA leadership team, creating and

executing an enterprise-wide talent strategy that includes talent

acquisition and selection, external talent brand reputation,

stakeholder engagement, and leadership development.

Carty was most recently the VP, Culture, Chief Marketing and

Experience Officer for Vanguard Health System where he oversaw a

network of 30 hospitals and more than 45,000 employees. Prior to his

role with Vanguard, Carty was a partner with Gallup Consulting where

he worked extensively with healthcare clients on issues including

culture improvement, human capital management, employee engagement and

physician partnership and engagement. Carty also worked for the

National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) as a researcher

for its space program, studying the different rates of E. coli in an

oxygenated vs. deoxygenated environment.

Carty received an Executive MBA in International Executive Leadership

from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, Nebraska. Prior to that,

Carty received a dual bachelor's degree in biology and biochemistry

from Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois. Additionally, Carty

advanced his education through Executive Development and

Certifications in Design Thinking from the Institute of Design at

Stanford, Lean Process Improvement from Toyota University, Leadership

and Organizational Transformation from Center for Creative Leadership,

Strengths Coaching from Gallup University, Information Technology from

SUNY-Binghamton School of Management, and Corporate Restructuring,

Mergers and Acquisitions from Harvard Business School.
