(KSL News) Search and rescue crews plucked two men off a mountain near Brighton Ski Resort in the middle of the night.
Three men in their twenties were hiking from Little Cottonwood Canyon to Twin Lake in Big Cottonwood Canyon.
One man hurt his hip, so he stayed behind with another man, while the third hiked down to the car and called for help.
A Department of Public Safety helicopter found the two men, cold and wet, around 1:00 am. They men had mild hypothermia, but will be okay.
Authorities say they weren't well-prepared, dressed only in t-shirts and shorts, with no food or water.
