SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (AP) -- The Mormon church has set up a relief kitchen in Indonesia.
Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints set up the kitchen in a local chapel just hours after the earthquake rocked the nation.
Volunteers went to one of the hardest hit areas and have been serving meals ever since. According to a church statement, around two-thousand meals are being prepared every day. The meals are then being delivered to areas were there is little or no access to food.
The LDS church also delivered medical supplies, bedding and refrigerators this week.
