(KSL News) -- An unusual stash of weapons at a home in West Jordan prompted a call from the bomb squad.

Officers were serving court papers to a man at the home yesterday when they found guns, rifles and even a vintage cannon.

Lt. Kyle Shepherd, West Jordan Police Dept.: "The officers went in and noticed a large number of weapons that were inside the house. And because of the number of the guns and ammunitions and so forth, we just called out the bomb squad as a precautionary legal and safe."

Police say it turns out the owner of the home collected the items as a hobby. Officers didn't charge the man.
