International Coach Federation Premieres Award-winning Credential

Legacy Video

LEXINGTON, Ky., March 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The International Coach

Federation (ICF) has premiered the first video in its new Credential

Legacy series. The video, which tells the story of ICF Professional

Certified Coach (PCC) Julia Mattern's journey to becoming a

professional coach and earning an ICF Credential, is posted on ICF's

Credential Legacy microsite at ICFCredentialLegacy.com.

The video was produced by ICF's marketing and communications staff, in

collaboration with Mike Benton and Matt Webb of Courage Media, a video

production firm based in Lexington, Ky.

"More than 11,000 coaches worldwide hold an ICF Credential, and each

one has a powerful story of how coaching is changing lives. Their

individual stories are a testament to the mark of excellence that the

ICF Credential stands for," said ICF's Director of Brand Management,

Lindsay Bodkin, who leads the marketing and communications team.

"Collectively, ICF Credential-holders' stories illustrate a lasting

legacy of coaching excellence. Our first video, featuring Julia

Mattern, PCC, is a taste of what's to come."

The Credential Legacy video series is the latest component of ICF's

ongoing Credential Legacy Campaign, which spotlights testimonials and

industry research illustrating the numerous personal and professional

benefits associated with the pursuit and achievement of an ICF

Credential. Throughout 2014, ICF will premiere additional videos that

tell the diverse stories of ICF Credential-holders from around the

world.

ICF's video has already netted honors from the American Advertising

Federation's (AAF) Lexington chapter. In February 2014, ICF HQ staff

accepted a Silver Award for Digital Advertising (Branded Content, More

Than 60 Seconds) at AAF Lexington's 2014 American Advertising Awards

event. The American Advertising Awards are a national award program

hosted by AAF recognizing creative excellence in the field of

advertising.

"We are thrilled that AAF Lexington honored the first video in our

Credential Legacy series with a Silver Award for Digital Advertising,"

said ICF CEO and Executive Director Magdalena Mook. "ICF

Credential-holders represent the very best of our profession, and they

do incredible things through coaching every day. The inspirational,

documentary-style videos in this series affirm the value of hiring a

coach with an ICF Credential and illustrate the benefits of earning an

ICF Credential."
