SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) — Sydney Coffey scored 23 points to lead Marist past Quinnipiac 70-66 on Monday, giving the Red Foxes their ninth straight Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference title and another berth in the NCAA tournament.

Casey Dulin added 14 points for Marist (25-6), which overcame a 17-point deficit in the first half.

Brittany McQuain had 20 points and 12 rebounds and Samantha Guastella added 16 points for Quinnipiac (21-12).

Gillian Abshire missed a long 3-pointer with 5 seconds left that would have tied the game, and Leanne Ockenden sealed Marist's win by making a free throw on the other end.
