Winckler to Step Down as FDLI President and CEO; Recruitment Underway

WASHINGTON, March 10, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Food and

Drug Law Institute, the premier educational organization in the field

of food and drug law, announced today that President and Chief

Executive Officer Susan C. Winckler will step down from that position

effective May 23, 2014.

"Susan has done a superlative job leading FDLI in its mission to

provide a forum and context for thoughtful and important discussion of

food and drug law, and we are sorry to see her leave," said Philip

Katz, Chair of the FDLI Board of Directors. "For more than four years,

she has worked hard and well with the food and drug law community,

Institute staff, and the Board to further FDLI's goals. We have

benefitted greatly from her experience and vision, and we wish her

well in her new role."

FDLI is accepting applications for the position of President and Chief

Executive Officer, who is responsible for developing and managing

FDLI's programs, publications, and other services. The leader of FDLI

plays a key role in the food and drug law community, working closely

with members, assuring the financial stability of the organization,

and leading, motivating and managing FDLI's staff. Additional

Founded in 1949, FDLI is a non-profit organization that provides a

marketplace for discussing food and drug law issues through

conferences, publications and member interaction. FDLI's scope
