RENO, Nev. (AP) — Nevada point guard Deonte Burton has been named the Mountain West Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week after leading the Wolf Pack to a pair of victories, including a 76-72 come-from-behind win over rival UNLV after trailing by 17 points.

The senior from Los Angeles averaged 24.5 points and seven rebounds in the wins over Boise State and UNLV. He had a double-double against the Rebels Saturday night with 24 points and 11 assists.

He also had eight assists while playing all 50 minutes of the Wolf Pack's 83-81 win at Boise in double overtime on Wednesday. It's the fourth time in his career Burton has won the weekly conference honor.
