Ryan Villopoto races to 4th Daytona victory

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Ryan Villopoto raced to his fourth AMA Supercross victory at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday night, easily beating Ken Roczen.

Villopoto, the Kawasaki rider from Poulsbo, Wash., has three victories in the first 10 450SK races this season. The three-time defending series champion leads the standings, 28 points ahead of Ryan Dungey.

Dungey was third in the 20-lap final, followed by Broc Tickle and Andrew Short.

Blake Baggett won the 250SX Eastern Regional race, leading a Kawasaki podium sweep.

Adam Cianciarulo, from nearby Port Orange, was second, and Martin Davalos finished third. Honda's Blake Wharton was fourth, followed by teammate Justin Bogle.

The 17-year-old Cianciarulo, a two-time winner in the first four races, leads the season standings, seven points ahead of Davalos. Baggett is third, 15 points back.
