BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) — Alabama angler David Kilgore won the Bassmaster Southern Open on Saturday on Smith Lake, finishing with a three-day catch of 54 pounds, 11 ounces
The 6-foot-9 Kilgore, from Jasper, had a final-day catch of 16-13.
Todd Auten of Lake Wylie, S.C. was second at 48-11.
