NEW YORK (AP) — Oliver Zip raced to a a pacesetting victory Saturday in the $100,000 Fred Capossela Stakes for 3-year-olds at Aqueduct.

Rajiv Maragh urged Oliver Zip right to the front, and they had company from Loki's Vengeance, who prompted the pace to their outside.

Oliver Zip sprinted clear in midstretch, finishing 4½ lengths better than Loki's Vengeance. The time was 1:10.21 for six furlongs on the fast track.

Trained by Kelly Breen, Oliver Zip won for the third time in five starts. He paid $13.40, $5.30 and $3.10.

Loki's Vengeance returned $4.50 and $3.50, and Long On Value, the 9-5 favorite, paid $2.90 to show.
