T25 BASKETBALL-SCHEDULE
No. 1 leads the way
UNDATED (AP) — The No. 1 team in The Associated Press Top-25 men's basketball team is playing the 25th-ranked team this afternoon. The game is in Gainesville, Fla., and has top-ranked Florida facing No. 25 Kentucky. The Gators are looking to improve on their 28-2 record.
In other Top-10 afternoon games, second-ranked Wichita State is playing Missouri State in the Missouri Valley Conference tournament. The Shockers are 32-0 following a quarterfinal win over Evansville.
The remaining day games featuring Top-10 schools have third-ranked Arizona on the road for a game at Oregon, No. 6 Villanova at home to Georgetown and eighth-ranked Kansas at West Virginia.
In a big ACC game tonight fourth-ranked Duke is home to archrival and 14th-ranked North Carolina. They met back on Feb. 20th with the Tar Heels coming out on top in Chapel Hill, 74-66.
NHL-SCHEDULE
A pair of day games on ice
UNDATED (AP) — There is a good matchup this afternoon of NHL Central Division opponents as Colorado is hosting St. Louis. The Blues start the day with a two-point lead over Chicago in the divisional race with Colorado just three points off the pace. This is the third of four meetings between the clubs this season with the Blues coming out on top in the first two by a combined score of 11-4.
The other day game has Ottawa at Winnipeg.
On tap this evening, Boston is skating at Tampa Bay in an Atlantic Division game, Phoenix is at Washington, the Flyers are facing the Maple Leafs in Toronto, New Jersey is home to Carolina, Columbus is playing in Nashville, Dallas is home to Minnesota and Calgary's Flames are at Vancouver.
NBA-SCHEDULE
Clippers and Spurs on home turf tonight
UNDATED (AP) — The red-hot L.A. Clippers are home to the Hawks this evening. The Clippers have won six straight and eight of their last 10 to lead the Pacific Division by four games over Golden State. The Spurs are just as hot, having won their last five in a row and eight of 10. Tonight the Spurs are home to the Orlando Magic.
The rest of the schedule has Utah at Philadelphia, Cleveland home to New York, the Bobcats at Memphis and Milwaukee at home to the Wizards.
GOLF-CADILLAC CHAMPIONSHIP
Third round play today
DORAL, Fla. (AP) — There was a four-way tie for the lead at the end of play yesterday in the Cadillac Championship in Doral, Fla. Dustin Johnson bogeyed the final hole and fell into a tie with Hunter Mahan (MAY'-han), Matt Kuchar (KOO'-chur) and Patrick Reed at 1 under par. Graeme McDowell and Rory McIlroy were among those at even par.
Only three players broke par in the second round. No one shot in the 60s. The average score was a fraction under 76.
PGA-PUERTO RICO CLASSIC

RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico (AP) — Third-round play is underway in the PGA's Puerto Rico Open. Midway leader James Driscoll has fallen a shot behind Chesson Hadley after four holes. Hedley is 13-under and Driscoll 12-under.
WORLD CUP-WOMEN'S SLALOM
Olympic champion Shiffrin wins World Cup slalom
ARE, Sweden (AP) — Olympic champion Mikaela (mih-KAY'-luh) Shiffrin won a World Cup slalom race to retain her season-long title with one race remaining. In her first slalom race since taking Olympic gold, Shiffrin led from start to finish just as she did at Sochi (SOH'-chee) two weeks ago. The 18-year-old American had a combined time of 1 minute, 50.66 seconds.
WORLD CUP-MEN'S GIANT SLALOM
Olympic champion Ligety wins World Cup giant slalom
KRANJSKA GORA, Slovenia (AP) — Olympic champion Ted Ligety (LIHG'-eh-tee) held on to his first-run lead to win a men's World Cup giant slalom race. It was the American's sixth career win in the Slovenian resort of Kranjska Gora (KRAHN'-skuh GOHR'-uh), making him the first man to win six World Cup races in one discipline at the same venue.
Ligety finished in an aggregate time of 2 minutes, 30.80 seconds to beat Benjamin Raich (BEHN'-yah-meen RYK) by 0.18.
