VAIL, Colo. (AP) — Olympic gold medalist Jamie Anderson wrapped up the TTR World Snowboard Tour slopestyle title Friday with a victory in snowy conditions at Vail Mountain.
"We definitely were under the winter elements today, which kind of felt good," said Anderson, from South Lake Tahoe, Calif. "It's snowy, the course is a little crazy, but I was so impressed with all the girls' riding and just happy to be out here in Vail. This win is different than the Olympics because I didn't have all the pressure on me."
Canada's Spencer O'Brien was second, followed by Switzerland's Isabel Derungs.
Canada's Mark McMorris won the men's event. Norway's Stale Sandbech was second, and Canada's Max Parrot finished third.
